Blood Cells Etc

Particularly for the topic of the adaptive immune system, the iconography of the different (blood- and) immune cells in of importance. This illustration not only demonstrates the different types of cells, but also their 'genealogy' (e.g. trombocytes are derived from myeloid stem cells).

In addition, to make the different myeloblast cells easier to distinguish, we graphically illustrated these symbols with their first letter (e.g. the letter 'G' can be observed in a granulocyte, whereas the 'n' is visualized in a neutrophil cell). This also holds true for the letter 'f' for the solluble protein fibrinogen (from which the icons of fibrin and fibrin cloth are derived).
